Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all games by Lemon Kite Games — mobile apps and browser versions — and explains what data is processed when you play them.
1. Who we are
Our games are published by Lemon Kite Games — “we”, “us” in this policy. We are responsible for processing your personal data (the data controller). For any privacy question or request, email hello@lemonkitegames.com.
2. In short
- Our games have no accounts, no chat and no in-app purchases. We do not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
- We do not run servers for our games. Your progress is stored on your device or by the platform you play on. We cannot see it.
- Our mobile apps show ads from Yandex Mobile Ads. The ad SDK, not us, collects device data, including your device’s advertising ID, to show and measure ads. You can limit this (section 5).
- We do not sell your data and do not receive personal data from ad networks or platforms — only aggregated reports (plays, ad views, revenue).
3. Mobile apps (Android and iOS)
3.1 Data stored on your device
A game saves your progress, settings and a short log of recent games in the app’s private storage on your device. It also stores your answer to the ad consent window, if the window was shown. This data is not sent anywhere by the game. Your device may include it in its backup (your Google account on Android, iCloud or a computer backup on iOS) according to your backup settings; we have no access to these backups. It is deleted when you delete the app or clear its data, unless you restore it from a backup.
3.2 Advertising: Yandex Mobile Ads SDK
Our apps are free and show full-screen ads after a game ends and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch. Ads never appear during a game. Ads are provided by Yandex Mobile Ads SDK, which includes the AppMetrica analytics SDK, both by Yandex and its affiliates (“Yandex”). On iOS the SDK also includes a crash reporting component (KSCrash).
When an app requests or shows an ad, the SDK may collect and send to Yandex:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Advertising identifier: Google Advertising ID on Android; IDFA on iOS — only if you allow tracking (section 5) | Showing, limiting the frequency of and measuring ads; personalised ads where you allow them |
| Other device identifiers: identifiers the SDK creates for the app installation, the identifier for vendor (IDFV) on iOS, the app set ID on Android | Counting ad views and sessions, limiting ad frequency, preventing ad fraud — also when the advertising ID is not available |
| Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, network type, app version, IP address and the approximate region derived from it, how the app was installed (install referrer, Android) | Delivering ads that fit the device, preventing ad fraud, measuring ads |
| Ad interactions: which ads were requested, shown, clicked or skipped; app launches and sessions | Ad reporting and analytics of the SDK |
| Diagnostics: crash and performance reports of the SDK | Keeping the SDK working |
Our apps do not request permissions for contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or location. On Android
the ad SDK adds permissions for network state, the advertising ID (AD_ID) and the install
referrer.
Yandex processes this data under the Yandex Privacy Policy and the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK License Agreement. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and may be processed on servers outside your country.
4. Browser versions
Our browser versions run on third-party game platforms and websites. The game code itself contains no analytics. Progress is saved either in your browser’s local storage on your device or by the platform. If the platform shows ads or hosts the page, it does so under its own privacy policy, which you can find on that platform.
5. Your choices
- Android, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland (and when the device’s country is unknown): on first launch the app asks whether Yandex may use your advertising ID for personalised ads. Accept — personalised ads; Decline — you still see ads, but they are not personalised. To answer again, clear the app’s data in Android settings (this also resets your progress).
- Android, everywhere: Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads) → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization, depending on your Android version.
- iOS: on first launch, before any ad is loaded, the app shows Apple’s tracking prompt. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the IDFA is not shared and ads are not personalised with it. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- iOS, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland (and when the device’s country is unknown): right after Apple’s prompt, if you allowed tracking, the app asks whether Yandex may use your advertising ID for personalised ads. Accept — personalised ads; Decline — you still see ads, but they are not personalised. If you chose Ask App Not to Track, the app does not ask and ads are not personalised. To answer again, delete and reinstall the app (this also resets your progress).
- Browser: use your browser’s privacy settings and the settings of the platform you play on.
- Refusing personalised ads or tracking does not block any part of our games.
6. Keeping and deleting data
- On your device: kept until you delete the app, clear its data or clear the site data in your browser.
- Data collected by the ad SDK: kept by Yandex for the periods set in the Yandex Privacy Policy. You can delete or reset your advertising ID as described in section 5, and contact Yandex through the Yandex Privacy Policy. If you ask us, we will help you pass your request to Yandex.
- Data held by a platform: kept and deleted under that platform’s policy.
- Emails between you and us: we use your email address and message only to answer you, and delete them no later than 12 months after your request is resolved.
7. Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13 and are not published in children’s categories (such as the App Store Kids category or Google Play’s Designed for Families program). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
8. Third parties
We work only with partners — the ad network named above and the platforms that publish our games — who have committed in their own policies to protect user data in line with applicable law and at a level no lower than this policy. Emails you send us are stored by our email provider on our behalf. Only we have access to the mailbox, and it is protected by two-factor authentication. Other than these, we do not share data with anyone.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EEA or the UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Since we do not hold data about you beyond your emails to us, most requests about ad data are handled by Yandex or by the platform — write to us and we will tell you exactly how. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Changes
If our games start processing data differently, we will update this page and the date at the top before the new version is released.
